We get an enormous amount of emails everyday of the week from readers of this blog - most of them are regarding the site and how much the readers love Play Bingo Online and especially the blog. Which is all great, and we thank all of you!

Never ones to shy away from controversy, we were discussing how the bad weather could actually be good for anyone who likes to play bingo online!!
The pro’s were something like this - weather is bad means i have to stay inside - if I HAVE to stay inside, I may as well play bingo online, as what else is there to do!
Pretty simple logic I guess! However, some of the debating team ( me, editor, and coffee gopher ) were of the opinion that this bad weather could not be good for anything - not even playing bingo online!! Now I understand this argument partly, and to all those people who have suffered as a result of the weather I wholeheartedly apologise in advance, but I have a positive outlook on life and everything that goes with it, and if faced with something adverse, like 80mph gale force winds, and lashings of rain which prevent me from doing anything other than sit in front of the laptop - then I like to think i can turn that into a positive experience - and playing bingo is definitely a positive experience where I’m concerned!!

Funnily enough I was just on Sun Bingo debating this issue even further - and one thing did come up which I have to concede could be classed as a downside in this weather - picking kids up from school!

That was the story for James Arnold last Friday! James finished his shift at the local pub and picked up a copy of The Sun on the way home - also stopping to get his customary Pukka Pie and chips. True story here - one of romance, intrigue, action, adventure and playing bingo online - could appear in a cinema near you soon!
Joyce Ramsbury, a 52 year old bingo player from Widnes had been a little unlucky in love over the years. Having divorced at the age of 40, she had, over the years, a string of relationships with men, but nothing too serious.
In Joyces own words ” I met men i liked, but after the divorce, I was not willing to compromise on the things i enjoyed in life, such as meeting with my friends, line dancing and playing bingo! This seemed to always cause problems, as all my boyfriends wanted me to be more of a stay at home housewife! No way sir!”

To cheer her up, her son Adam bought her a laptop for her 50th birthday, primarily so she could stay in touch with him over email and messenger. Whilst Joyce struggled at first, she soon came to terms with the laptop and the whole internet ” thingy “.
By March of that year, Joyce had an email account, a facebook account and could be found on MSN messenger most evenings! Just don’t mention the term silver surfer to her - she’s a natural brunette!

It was only a matter of time before Joyce discovered the pleasure of online bingo - and the social opportunity it gave her. Back over to Joyce!
